Join Melanie Ripple, LMSW of the Samaritan Center, focuses on how screen time affects child development and how to set age-appropriate boundaries, navigate social media, and foster open conversations at home.
Help your kids build healthy tech habits from the start. Learn about how screentime can impact development, relationships, and regulation. This hands-on workshop covers the good, the bad, and the ugly, while discussing how to implement age-appropriate screen time, social media readiness, privacy basics, and how to keep the conversation going at home.
Bio:
Melanie Ripple, LMSW (supervised by Kamini Verma, LCSW-S, RPT-S) has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Melanie helps clients improve their quality of life and relationships, addressing trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, attachment, LGBTQ+ issues, behavior issues, and more.
Melanie uses a trauma-informed approach and her background in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) to deliver compassionate treatment. With additional expertise in exercise physiology, nutrition, and autoimmune issues, she is passionate about holistic healing that considers all aspects of health.

Will I get a certificate for attending the class?
Yes. We will email certificates within 3 business days of your class. Our office is open Monday through Thursday, so for a Thursday evening class, you can expect your certificate by the following Wednesday. If you don't receive a certificate within that time frame, please email [email protected].
Note that we must have a current registration form on file and a completed class evalution to be able to issue you a certificate.

How will I get the Zoom link?
