Open Healthware Conference

If you're working at the intersection of health care and open source hardware, we invite you to attend the first ever Open Healthware Conference!

Note: if you are interested in Open Source Hardware more generally, and/or to not work specifically in this field, pelase see the general Open Hardware Summit (OHS, 2025.oshwa.org). This event is specifically for people either working actively in healthcare, or people who actively are developing Open Source Hardware for a medical context.

Help us shape the Open Source Healthware Community by joining us at the Healthware Summit The Open Healthware OSE (Open Source Ecosystem) initiative seeks to unify the open-source hardware and healthcare communities by making designs for healthcare integration publicly available. The initiative will create a community agreed-upon standard for health-related open hardware projects. Hardware that meets that standard will be included in a new health-specific certification repository. This new certification will complement OSHWA’s existing open hardware certification. We invite the community to help shape the future of Open Healthware through this process.
