Description

While pop-up windows like these may make us feel as though we have some control over how much of our data gets shared, many experts say they only give us a false sense of security.

Thanks to the internet, there is very little about us that is truly private: From what we search on and the products we buy to basic demographics such as age, race, and where we live. As with most things, our opinions vary as to where this is a good thing or a bad thing varies. Join us as we explore the central questions:

  • How much privacy are we willing to give up in return for convenience?

  • Whose responsibility is it to protect our privacy?

Attend the Crossing Party Lines discussion and have a voice in our Nation’s Conversation! People of all views are welcomed, appreciated, and heard.

Please do your best to arrive at the beginning of the meeting – once we are in breakout rooms and the conversations have started, the meeting doors close to new arrivals. The breakout rooms open (and the doors close) approximately 15 minutes after the hour.

We would love to hear your thoughts on our social media pages. Don't miss topic announcements, updates, news! Follow us on:
