Raising Tech Wise Kids

Raising Tech-Wise Kids is a 90-minute interactive virtual workshop for parents of elementary and middle school students who want practical guidance—not fear or overwhelm—around technology.

From school devices and gaming to social media and AI, technology is shaping how children learn and connect. This session helps parents understand today’s digital world, set healthy boundaries at home, and talk with their children about safety and responsibility with confidence.

Parents will engage in live polls, guided breakout discussions, and real-life scenarios—and leave with tools they can use right away.

This workshop will be led by Dr. Valora Richardson, an educator, learning designer, and parent advocate specializing in digital learning, technology integration, and family engagement. She brings a practical, judgment-free approach that helps parents feel confident guiding their children in today’s digital world.
