For our upcoming Responsible Tech Mixer, a popular monthly series in NYC run by the non-profit All Tech Is Human, we are partnering with Project Liberty and Safe Tech, Safe Kids. "Safe Tech, Safe Kids is a team of organizations, activists, and technologists who believe that tech should promote young people’s wellbeing. We elevate the voices of young people and other key stakeholders impacted by harmful social media models, and spotlight ideas, innovators, and initiatives that show that another way is possible, starting today. Together, we build momentum behind the solutions that can keep young people safe online."
All Tech Is Human's Responsible Tech Mixer series brings together 200 people who care deeply about building and co-creating a better tech future. One that is aligned with the public interest. Previous speakers in the series include Kashmir Hill, Nabiha Syed, Meredith Broussard, and Douglas Rushkoff.
Our mixers draw a diverse range of backgrounds and experience levels, from individuals who have been pioneers in the Responsible Tech movement to individuals just getting involved. We bring together people across civil society, government, industry, and academia all around a shared goal of understanding values, best practices, and pathways for a better tech future. So whether you are a students, artist, designer, Trust & Safety professional, org leader, journalist, attorney, psychologist, academic, advocate, or researcher, we'd love to have you attend.
Each one of our previous Responsible Tech Mixers have reached capacity (200) and we expect this to fill up quickly. The first 50 attendees who show up on Nov 15th will also receive an All Tech Is Human tote bag.
And after the mixer, stay in touch with All Tech Is Human through our Slack community of over 6k members across 82 countries, take part in our mentorship program, join an open working group, participate in our university network, and read our Responsible Tech Guide. See all of our projects and links here.
