# Building on Rust Workshop Series: Vibe Coding Hackathon

Event Description: Cap off an intensive series of Rust workshops in April with a Vibe Coding Hackathon, an event where you can apply everything learned in the "Building on Rust" workshop series.
This hackathon hopes to challenge participants to innovate and create using Rust and AI, leveraging the techniques and knowledge gained from our expert-led sessions in April.
Judges: Anthony Ronning, Co-Founder of OpenSecret, Christopher David Founder of Open Agents, Topher Scott, Co-Founder of BitEscrow and FROSTR
Keystones:
- Challenge: Use Rust combined with AI to tackle unique problems and develop creative solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work in teams or fly solo dolo to design and code projects that reflect the potential of Rust and AI integration.
- Prizes: Compete for category prizes, each worth about $500 in Bitcoin, rewarding innovation, design, functionality, and best use of each category. More to TBA.
- Networking Opportunity: Connect with fellow hackers, builders, creators, developers and industry leaders who share your passion for coding and innovation.
- Food & Drinks: Will be looking to get some light food and drinks for this event to keep everyone comfortable and accommodated. RSVP is necessary for accurate count.
Who Should Attend: This hackathon is ideal for participants of the "Building on Rust" workshop series who are eager to put their new skills to the test. It's also open to any developer with experience in Rust and an interest in AI who wants to compete, learn, and innovate in a dynamic environment.
