Description

Overview

Join our webinar series on social innovation projects. This time we will talk about how technology can enable social innovation.

We are excited to continue our Social Innovation Project Exchange webinar series — a shared space for connecting (EU-) projects working on social innovation.

In this session, our speakers will explore how public procurement can be used as a strategic tool to support social innovation and strengthen the role of social enterprises. Two experts will present practical approaches, policy frameworks and examples from different European contexts that demonstrate how procurement processes can be designed to generate social value and enable innovative solutions to scale.

The series aims to revive and strengthen the exchange between projects within and beyond the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme, and to enable regular dialogues on social innovation methods, tools and strategies.

Goals

  • 🤝 Networking & Synergy Building: Connect with other (EU-funded) projects and identify shared challenges and opportunities.
  • 💡 Exchange of Experience: Discover methods and tools that have proven effective in other contexts.
  • 🧭 Policy & Strategy Development: Formulate recommendations on how programmes can better support social innovation.
  • 🌍 Visibility & Collaboration: Promote projects, outputs and solutions – paving the way for joint initiatives and long-term cooperation.

The insights collected may contribute to a joint position paper aiming to inspire future EU funding calls and improve the framework for social innovation.
