This one-hour webinar aims to introduce high school students to emerging technologies shaping the future, while promoting the We Connect the Dots (WCTD) summer AI program as an opportunity to further explore artificial intelligence.
The webinar will begin with a 5-minute introduction welcoming students and outlining the importance of staying up-to-date on emerging tech trends.
The next 25 minutes will provide an overview of several key emerging technologies:
For each technology, the presenters will cover the definition, basic concepts, applications, impact across industries, and related career opportunities. Real-world examples showcasing how companies utilize these technologies will also be highlighted.
Potentially, there will be a 10-minute demo segment displaying an AI classifier in action.
Students will be encouraged to further explore these topics, with resources and learning methods provided.
A 10-minute Q&A session will allow students to ask questions.
The webinar will close with a 5-minute segment promoting the WCTD summer AI program as a way for students to gain exposure to AI fundamentals and business applications. Students will be encouraged to follow WCTD on social media for future events.
