FREE 4-week Python for Beginners programming course for Tweens ages 9-12
We are offering a FREE 4-week Python for Beginners programming course to Tweens ages 9-12. In this introduction to coding in Python, you will learn how to use variables, loops, and functions to create visual and interactive artwork, animations, simulations, games, and more.
By pre-registering for this 4-week series you are registering for all 4 dates and should plan to attend all 4 dates:
All classes are from 6:00-7:00 PM in the 3rd Floor Tween Lounge at the Central Library.
Note: Children under age 10 must have a parent or guardian remain nearby during the program. Seating will be available near the program room.
First come first served. Space is limited. We recommend that you attend all 4 sessions; however, it is not necessary. It is beneficial to attend the first session.
Each class is self-paced with handouts, with the support of knowledgeable volunteers!
