About the Event
University College Dublin (UCD) invites you to join a World Café session as part of the HYSTORE Project. This interactive online event will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss Thermochemical Materials (TCM) technology and its role in Thermal Energy Storage (TES) within Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC). This session offers an opportunity to share ideas, explore current challenges, and envision the potential impact of TCM technology in the energy sector.

Event Structure

  • Welcome & Introduction (5 minutes): An overview of the HYSTORE project and UCD’s role.
  • Interactive Discussions (3 rounds, 20 minutes each): Engage in small group discussions to explore key questions.
  • Summaries and Closing (10 minutes): Insights from each discussion will be shared, fostering a collective understanding of TCM for TES.

Questions We’ll Explore

  • Awareness of TCM Technology for TES: What do you know about Thermochemical Materials (TCM) technology in Thermal Energy Storage (TES)?
  • Benefits and Challenges of TCM Technology for TES: From your perspective, what are the primary benefits and potential challenges associated with using TCM technology for TES?
  • Impact of TCM Technology on Sustainable Energy Communities: How do you think TCM technology could impact the development and sustainability of energy communities?

This World Café aims to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and provide actionable insights into TCM’s role in sustainable energy.
