Urban Tech Academy

Description

The 2023 Urban Tech Academy, hosted at Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island on November 13th will highlight visionary research on sustainable cities. We will bring together academic researchers and industry experts to explore the latest research on clean multi-modal, electrified transportation systems.

Two themed sessions in the morning and afternoon will provide ideas and point to technical gaps that need to be filled to ensure efficient and reliable solutions that best serve commuters as well as provide clean and available charging opportunities for the heterogeneous vehicles of a multimodal urban transportation system. Along with reducing costs and emissions, fairness, security and privacy are aspects highlighted.

Doors open at 8:30AM, programming begins at 9:00AM. Lunch will be provided.
