Tracking your nonprofit's impact and keeping tabs on project status shouldn't feel like a full-time job. Yet, many teams find themselves buried in messy spreadsheets, scattered emails, and generic software that fails to capture the real story of their work. Off-the-shelf tools often don't fit your unique tracking needs, and custom software is too darn expensive!
But what if you could build exactly what your team needs to track progress simply by talking to AI? Welcome to the world of vibe coding: a new, accessible way to create custom tools by describing your goals rather than writing complex code. Join TechSoup’s Data Communities of Practice for an inspiring session featuring two live demonstrations of vibe coding in action.
We'll explore how Yannik Baeurle of TechSoup Plus member organization HC4A built a dashboard to track learner participation, course progress, and grant-related goals for their Coursera-based programs
Then, we'll see how Fabio Fraticelli and SocialTechno developed an internal tool built using agentic coding to streamline project management and monitoring.
No technical background? No problem! This session is a practical, jargon-free conversation. We'll focus on how you can use these accessible tools to save time, reduce administrative burden, and focus more on your mission.
Who this is for:
Executive Directors and Leadership Teams
Program Managers and Coordinators
Fundraisers and Impact Officers
Communications Professionals
What you’ll gain:
A clear understanding of "vibe coding": Learn how AI and agentic coding can help you build custom tools without needing a computer science degree.
Real-world inspiration: See exactly how the SocialTechno and HC4A are turning program data into clear reports for funders, community partners, and staff.
Actionable insights: Discover the opportunities and challenges of building AI tools around the way your organization actually works day-to-day.
