Virtual: Tech Talent Partnership Cyber Workforce Roundtable

The Tech Talent Partnership is lead in partnership with ActivateWork, the City of Colorado Springs, PPBEA, Pikes Peak Workforce Center, Arapahoe Community College, and A/D Works!

The Tech Talent Partnership is working to build a cohesive employer-led initiative designed to bridge the gap between employers and education partners to find the tech talent they need.

Following the release of Colorado’s 2025 Talent Pipeline Report, a consistent message from employers and educators continues from previous years: we need stronger coordination across high school, postsecondary, and alternative pathways. Rather than adding another siloed table, this initiative aims to bring existing efforts together, making it easier for employers to shape talent pipelines across the full ecosystem.

Cybersecurity in Colorado Springs / El Paso County, early insights:

  • 12,003 unique job postings from 1,143 employers
  • Hiring demand outpacing available candidates by 2,772 roles
  • Top gaps in computer science, systems engineering, agile, cybersecurity, Python, Linux, and configuration management
  • Security clearance and degree requirements remain major barriers

These insights underscore the need for closer collaboration between employers and educators. We’ll be hosting a virtual roundtable to review the data and hear directly from industry leaders on what you’re seeing and what’s needed next.
