Our inaugural convening will bring together inspiring leaders to raise awareness about the growing AI divide and discuss the urgent solutions needed to ensure that we are not leaving women and other vulnerable communities behind in the race to an AI-powered future.

DISCUSSION: BRIDGING THE GENDER DIVIDE IN AI - 3.45PM to 4.30PM
This discussion will review the multi-dimensional challenges faced by women in AI globally, including conversation about systemic barriers, discrimination, stereotyping, and exclusion. The panel will aim to present solutions that address not only AI technologies themselves, but also broader issues of gender equality, gender rights and perceptions of leadership and competency.

In this discussion, we will explore new effective strategies for building AI reskilling programs, investments to make AI literacy resources more accessible, and development of new onramps to enable women’s full participation in the AI economy.

Our mission is to increase diversity and inclusion in the AI/tech industry by elevating underrepresented ethical voices and providing mentoring programs to support the next generation of diverse AI talent. We also keep our communities safe from the harms of AI and prepare workers for new opportunities through AI literacy & reskilling programs at public libraries and community centers.

Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and used to fund mission-aligned activities, which includes but is not limited to free AI literacy, reskilling, and mentoring resources to support marginalized communities in this space.

Harassment includes but is not limited to heckling the members or speakers, purposeful misgendering, mansplaining, using any kind of slur, bullying, racist comments, or any other attempt to intimidate other attendees or disrupt the event. We reserve the right to take action including but not limited to removing/blocking members who are in violation of our rules. There is no place in our group for hate or harassment.
