Working with Research and Innovation Data: Multi-Organisation Perspectives

This event is organised by the Community of Practice in R&I Evidence and Analysis (CoP), a network of professionals who work with R&I data, policies and strategies. Established in August 2024 and led by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the CoP is unique due to its cross-sector reach, bringing together professionals working in universities, funders, mission groups, government, policy organisations and beyond.

This session will explore how R&I data is interrogated across institutions and consider mechanisms for cross-organisation and cross-sector collaboration and data sharing. The discussion will be moderated by the CoP Co-Chair, who will be in conversation with a variety of speakers across organisation types, learning about R&I data use that enhances organisational evidence base. This will be followed by a Q&A with the speakers.

Conversation insights will be useful for a range of attendees, from research management professionals, policy analysts & advisors, digital, data and technology specialists, government officials, funding bodies representatives or researchers & early-career academics.
