Description

See how enterprise agents actually work - even if you've never written a line of code.

LatinaTechies is back with the third and final event of our AI Upskilling Series — and we saved the most exciting one for last.

You've used AI as a smart assistant. Now meet AI that actually does things.

Most people interact with AI by asking it questions. An agent is different. It uses tools, makes decisions, and completes multi-step tasks — without you guiding every click. That shift from AI that answers to AI that acts is one of the most significant things happening in tech right now, and understanding it is becoming a real career differentiator.

In this session, Mel Li — an AI/ML Solutions Architect at AWS with deep expertise in enterprise agentic AI — will show you how agents actually work, using the same tools being used to build production agents today: OpenClaw for agent orchestration, Claude Code for AI-powered development, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for hosting and running agents at enterprise scale.

You won't be building an agent yourself in this session — but you'll see one come to life in real time, understand what it's made of, and walk away with the vocabulary and mental model to talk about agentic AI confidently — in interviews, at work, and beyond.

No coding experience required. No AWS account needed. Just show up curious.

What you'll learn:

  • What makes something an AI agent — and how it's fundamentally different from a chatbot or AI assistant
  • How OpenClaw, Claude Code, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore work together to build and run a real agent
  • How the same pattern that powers personal productivity tools scales to enterprise automation
  • How to talk about agentic AI in a job interview — the vocabulary, the concepts, and the questions that show you understand what's actually happening under the hood

A note on tools: Today's demo uses professional and enterprise tools with associated costs. You don't need accounts or subscriptions to attend — this is a watch-and-learn session designed to show you what's possible and give you the knowledge to apply it.

Format: Live demo — Mel will walk through everything on screen.
