As the Program Data Director, you will work closely with program directors and senior leadership to ensure thorough and standardized data collection, analysis, and reporting procedures, and that they align with and inform the achievement of our mission. • Coordinating and implementing standardization efforts for data collection going forward across program teams.
  • Overseeing and executing (when needed) the consistent uploading and housing of this crucial data.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and stakeholders and facilitating their support of our data infrastructure.
  • Innovating methods and means of data collection by leveraging the existing database platform (Salesforce) as well as potential new third party integrations.
  • Collaborating with directors and senior leadership, either individually or through Program Leadership Team (PLT) and SLT engagement, to implement and execute new data collection strategies that illuminate our “theory of change.”
  • Documenting best practices regarding data collection/processing, and leading training and evolving training materials for current and future staff.

Reporting and Program Evaluation/Analysis
  • In collaboration with SLT, creating and regularly updating a full set of analyses and reports that measure and track all key program elements, monitoring the findings and flagging issues as they arise.
  • Working with PLT and SLT to develop a calendar for collection, reporting, and analysis of all programs.
  • Creating and synthesizing data for program reports for BTNY’s Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
  • Providing guidance on programmatic decisions using innovative data analysis.
  • Creating longitudinal data-sets tracking student success over the 10 years of the program, and eventually the long-term impact in our alumni community.
