The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

The process of transforming healthcare data into products and services requires cross-functional collaboration and coordination, involving multiple teams and stakeholders. The Solutions Architect (SA) plays a vital role in technically supporting our customers throughout the lifecycle of Komodo’s relationship; in particular for our high-touch, complex customer engagements. 

This role is accountable for planning and delivery of Komodo’s suite of products. This includes, facilitating the coordination and communication across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a predictable, high-quality product is delivered and serving as the technical expert in customer facing interactions.

 

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished…

  • Obtained an understanding of Komodo’s Healthcare Map, platform, and suite of products
  • Collaborated with project teams to drive planning, implementation and support of highly-technical customer projects  
  • Executed data delivery for customers commitments against schedule; including in-depth technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Designed and implemented custom solutions to meet the needs of our discerning customers
  • Provided technical managed services to ensure ongoing support to your customer base
  • Successfully managed customer relationships, led external communications and advocated for your customers

 

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Strong, proactive communication to customers and cross-functional teams
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Managing technical projects with stakeholders across the organization
  • Rigorously assessing competing priorities and delivering results under pressure, with minimal, to no, oversight
  • Fighting through blockers and ambiguous situations in order to deliver value to our customers

 

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in data queries (SQL or similar) 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and projects with high quality and grace under pressure
  • Intellectually curious, eager to solve difficult problems and willingness to learn new technology to get the job done
  • Experience working in technical project management

 

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Foundational understanding of AWS, Snowflake, and API technology
  • Technical experience in the healthcare industry
  • Engineering or other technical degree

 

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$105,000$162,000 USD

 

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
