Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture, IT
(Hybrid in Chicago, IL; Durham, NC; Washington, DC; New York, NY; or San Francisco, CA or Remote)
We are seeking a seasoned enterprise architect with deep expertise in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), enterprise system integration, and data warehouse development, with a focus on Microsoft and Salesforce technologies. The ideal candidate will excel in designing and overseeing scalable architecture solutions while managing integrations across the firm’s diverse platforms.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the firm’s enterprise architecture, ensuring comprehensive integration of security, cloud solutions, and lifecycle management.
- Spearhead architecture and integration initiatives, aligning technology capabilities with the firm’s rapid growth.
- Function as a lead architect on high-impact projects at various stages of development and implementation.
- Architect and build solutions in Azure and other enterprise systems (e.g., HR, CRM, ERP), ensuring seamless company-wide integration and with external platforms.
- Lead the development of data warehouses sourced from disparate systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Guide and develop architecture and integration teams, including Azure cloud engineers, data architects, and developers.
- Optimize and connect diverse technology platforms to align with evolving business needs.
- Deliver a cohesive, seamless digital experience for all users.
- Lead technology centers of excellence to execute architectural vision and design, collaborating with project managers, infrastructure, client service, and product teams.
- Provide architectural guidance for high-impact technology projects.
- Manage direct reports, including Azure cloud engineers, data architects, and developers.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for application development and DevOps processes.
- Ensure outsourced teams and developers adhere to enterprise architecture vision through oversight and technical documentation.
Other Responsibilities
- Leverage external vendors, networks, and developer communities to adopt modern, relevant technologies that drive operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop technical teams on best practices, career development, and architectural concepts.
To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Graduate degree is preferred.
- 8-10+ years of professional experience in enterprise architecture and technology integration.
- Expertise in Salesforce EA methodology and Microsoft Azure application architecture, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.org Nonprofit Cloud is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams in adopting modern technologies, business models, and concepts.
- Strong ability to develop and refine technology roadmaps aligned with budgets and available talent.
- Hands-on technical expertise when needed.
- Experience integrating enterprise-grade applications within NetSuite, Salesforce, and Microsoft technology ecosystems.
- Experience in web design or user experience is an advantage.

Please note that all Arabella Advisors’ offices have reopened, and we work in a hybrid environment.
We reopened our offices in Summer of 2022 and work with a hybrid workplace strategy to ensure continued flexibility for our staff, while deepening our strong culture rooted in collaboration and in-person interactions between colleagues. We expect that after their initial onboarding, all Arabellans will have the choice of two hybrid schedules. Our hybrid schedule options include Flex, with 1-2 days per week in the office, or Office-based, with 3+ days per week in the office (or more if preferred) and the remaining days working at home/remotely. Total Rewards (compensation and benefits)
This is a full-time position. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on national compensation benchmarks for similar organizations.
The base salary for this position is $180,000 and with an annual bonus potential of 15% for this position.
We consider national benchmark indicators along with job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive.
All full-time staff are eligible for our generous benefits package on their first day of employment:
