Summary
This position is responsible for safeguarding AllCare Health’s systems and sensitive data against cyber threats, analyzing security logs, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
- Monitor security alerts and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) notifications utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to identify potential security incidents.
- Documents and mitigates security incidents in accordance with AllCare Health’s Security Incident Response Plan and plays a significant role in preparation of SIRPs for company audits.
- Conducts security awareness training for all employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security enhancements and upgrades to infrastructure and software systems.
- Conducts regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with established security policies and standards.

- May require the use of a personal cell phone (cell phone stipend applicable).

Education
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university in Information Security or a related field preferred.
Experience
Four to ten years related experience and/or training in Information Security or a related field.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
Security+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC and other technological certifications preferred.
Job Skills
- Familiarity with the Healthcare IT industry.
- Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with MDR, SOC, and SIEM solutions.
- Familiarity with best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience with technical writing.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
