Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Information Systems in the Business & Economics Department. Faculty responsibilities include teaching twelve credit hours per term, fall and spring semesters, including day, evening, and weekend classes.
Essential Functions
- Teaching a variety of courses, including, but not limited to: Digital Technologies for Business, an Information Systems course, Applied Technology, and other relevant business and management courses.
- Participating in the governance and committee work of the Department, College, and University, and ongoing professional development in the discipline of economics and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Minimum Requirements
Prior to the effective date of the appointment, all of the following:
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's Degree in Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of work experience is required. That experience must include four (4) years Information Systems (IS) management or related work experience and one academic year of college-level teaching experience in Information Systems or a related field, which can, but need not be, contemporaneous with the IS management experience.
