Role Summary
As a growth-focused Sr. Product Manager at Rivian you have a unique and exciting challenge: attracting and engaging potential customers in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. You'll play a critical role in defining and delivering exceptional experiences that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You'll own the software roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives with the highest impact on growth metrics, while collaborating closely with engineering, design, and a wide range of stakeholders (marketing, customer support, etc.) to ship high-quality products that drive growth.This role demands a data-driven and customer-centric leader with exceptional communication, prioritization, and influencing skills to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
- A Growth PM at Rivian leads the charge in acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by strategically leveraging the digital experience and collaborating effectively across the organization.
- Develop the software product strategy: Define a clear and compelling product vision and roadmap for your area of responsibility within Rivian's digital ecosystem (website, app, etc.), aligning it with overall business goals and growth targets.
- Gather and analyze insights: Continuously monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prioritize strategically: Prioritize features and functionality based on business value, technical feasibility, customer impact, and potential for driving growth.
- Track and measure success: Define and monitor key product metrics to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, sales, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and a cohesive customer experience.
- Lead cross-functional teams: Effectively lead and coordinate with software engineers, designers, throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Document product requirements: Clearly define and document detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and user needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert: Provide guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and external partners on Rivian's software products and initiatives.
- Map and optimize the user journey: Analyze and optimize all stages of the customer journey, from initial awareness and website visits to post-purchase engagement and advocacy. Identify and address friction points to create a seamless and engaging experience.
- Enhance the digital experience: Continuously improve the website and app experience to attract, engage, and convert potential customers.
- Drive qualified leads: Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads through online channels.
- Personalize the experience: Leverage data and technology to personalize website content and online interactions based on user preferences and behavior.

Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $121,500-$165,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
