Position Title: Server Administrator
Location: North Barrington, IL (**Onsite Position)

Key Responsibilities:
- Server & Endpoint Security Management: Ensure robust security measures are in place for server and endpoint systems, protecting organizational data from internal and external threats.
- Hardware & Software Upgrades: Oversee the management and timely upgrades of server hardware and software to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Networked Storage Administration: Manage networked storage solutions and ensure efficient backup and recovery processes for both local and cloud environments.
- Data Recovery Operations: Conduct data restorations and recovery procedures when needed, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- Remote Desktop & Application Management: Administer and optimize Remote Desktop Servers and relevant applications to enhance user experiences.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor server logs and application performance, generating automated reports and notifications for any downtime or issues.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Plan, practice, and administer Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) strategies to prepare for potential system failures.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Level II/III IT Support roles, with relevant experience in server administration or related fields.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Hypervisor and experience in ERP technical support are preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant IT certifications are highly desirable to validate expertise and knowledge.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (SQL, PowerShell, PHP, or Python) to assist in automation and system management.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with IT teams and end-users to resolve issues and enhance services.
Education Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; an associate’s degree with significant industry experience is acceptable.
