Job Description:
As a Product and UX Designer at DMC, you will be instrumental in the development of our initial set of products. We are looking for a user experience expert to design products that are simple, seamless, efficient and delightful to use. You will be responsible for both building workflows and designing the user interface.
Responsibilities:
- Craft intuitive workflows based on a complex set of data inputs and outputs
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into intuitive interfaces
- Research and document the existing landscape to inform design decisions
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions
- Build wireframes and designs in Figma
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results
- Work cross functionally with product, engineering and external stakeholders to get early feedback and ensure buy-in
- Contribute to decisions about the future direction of DMC’s product and design strategy
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Figma or comparable tool is required.
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping designs that are broad/ambiguous in scope and encompass an end-to-end experience
- Strong background in product design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions that meet user needs and business goals
- Demonstrated ability to design simple solutions to complex user problems, ideally in a highly regulated field
- Fluency with common prototyping tools to demonstrate complex features and flows in web experiences
- Experience leveraging pre-built UI component libraries and component first design
