Guild is hiring an AI Operations Engineer in Business Systems and IT to transform our internal operations with AI.
You have a track record designing and scaling internal systems. You can build working AI systems yourself and lead others to implement solutions at scale. Your mission is to build internal AI-driven products that empower Guild's operating teams and drive significant business outcomes.
You'll be at the front of Guild's AI transformation, shaping the future of how we operate across every business function. Working across Business Systems, IT and Engineering, you will define the infrastructure that enables rapid development and reliable operation of AI solutions.
As [AI Operations Engineer], you will:
- Inform Guild’s operational AI strategy: map Guild’s business capabilities, benchmark current maturity and identify where AI capabilities can deliver the greatest strategic impact.
- Design end-to-end AI solutions: design scalable workflows that deliver business outcomes. Keep pace with the rapidly changing landscape of AI technology to inform the technical infrastructure Guild uses to build and support AI solutions.
- Implement internal AI products and automations: build AI-enabled systems using a mix of technologies like n8n, Databricks, Streamlit and MCP servers. Work with Business Systems and Engineering to integrate AI solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Drive AI transformation: partner with executives and functional leaders to cultivate a culture of first-principles thinking and continuous learning in Guild’s use of AI.
You are a strong fit for this role if you:
- Solve problems collaboratively. You build trust easily, convene diverse stakeholders and drive to decisions even without direct authority.
- Gravitate to first principles. You don’t care how things used to be done. You solve for the best way to do things now.
- Bias to action. You thrive on getting things done in a fast-paced environment and seeing tangible results from your work.
- Thrive in uncertainty. You love to learn and are often the first to explore new ways of doing things.
- Lead. You excel at building high-performing teams, whether through direct hiring or cross-functional leadership.
We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $161,300 - 236,600, variable compensation, and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
