We are looking for a founding technical leader who will architect and build our platform from scratch. Open to Senior Product Architect or Senior Product Manager candidates — title will match your background and expertise.

As our founding technical leader, you'll architect and build our platform from scratch—no legacy systems, just the opportunity to create scalable technology that serves thousands of users seeking meaningful change.

You'll solve one of technology's most interesting challenges: creating digital experiences that facilitate genuine human transformation. This means building systems that can measure inner growth (not just engagement), support intimate connections at scale, and use AI to help rather than hook people.

Your decisions will determine whether we build something that truly serves transformation or just another wellness app. You'll balance the urgency of helping people now with building sustainably for the future. Most importantly, you'll prove that technology can democratize access to profound personal growth and collective wellbeing.

Key Outcomes You’ll Drive 

• Define what transforms lives- Translate user research and behavioral insights into features that actually drive meaningful change, not just engagement.
• Prioritize for maximum impact- Create roadmaps that balance user needs, technical possibilities, and mission urgency to deliver value with limited resources.
• Foster genuine engagement over addiction- Implement AI that helps users develop sustained practice, not compulsive checking.
• Enable sustainable growth- Ensure our platform scales from hundreds to tens of thousands without losing its transformative essence or breaking our budget.
• Create unified digital experiences- Architect front-end and back-end systems that work together seamlessly, giving users a smooth journey across touchpoints.
• Create technical clarity for future builders- Ensure any engineer can understand, maintain, and evolve what you’ve 
• Protect user transformation journeys- Build systems that handle intimate personal data with the security of a bank and the sensitivity of a therapist.
• Prevent future technical disasters- Establish standards that keep us secure, compliant, and able to sleep at night.
• Maximize every dollar's impact- Make critical build vs. buy decisions that stretch nonprofit resources while maintaining technical integrity.
• Eliminate barriers to access- Ensure our technology works for all young adults, regardless of their location or circumstances.
• Turn skeptics into champions- Get board members and funders excited about technical investments they don’t fully understand.

 Technical Requirements 

• 10-15 years of product development experienceFull-stack knowledge required (modern front-end frameworks + back-end architecture)
• Hands-on coding ability- you can write and review code
• Experience implementing AI/ML in production systems
• Track record of shipping consumer-facing products at scale
• Strong system architecture and API design skills
• Experience with both in-house teams and vendor management
• Data privacy and security best practices
