About the Role

The Head of Marketing will serve as a key leader in shaping and executing the company's marketing vision, strategy, and execution. This individual will oversee all aspects of marketing, from driving customer acquisition and retention to brand development, partnerships, and lifecycle management. As the steward of the customer journey, you will be responsible for building a marketing organization that balances creativity with data-driven insights to fuel growth and deepen customer loyalty.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing will lead a multidisciplinary team across growth marketing (paid and organic), partnerships, brand marketing, lifecycle marketing, and marketing communications. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in scaling organizations, developing talent, and driving performance - hands-on - across diverse marketing channels.

The Head of Marketing is a critical revenue driver, tasked with owning and optimizing the

customer acquisition funnel while increasing the lifetime value of our account holders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Analytics, and Customer Success, to create and implement strategies that resonate with our target audience, improve brand awareness, and drive sustainable growth.

  • Oversee high-impact partnerships and strategic alliances to expand brand visibility and enhance customer value.
  • Lifecycle Marketing:
  • Design and implement customer lifecycle strategies to increase engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value, using data and customer insights.
  • Marketing Communications:
  • Lead the marketing communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audience resonance.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Performance Metrics and Budget Management:
  • Own and track key marketing metrics (CAC & LTV), manage the marketing budget, and allocate resources effectively to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with company objectives and present insights and performance results to stakeholders.

 

What You’ll Bring

Education:

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Preferred:
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related field) with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, or Business Leadership.

Experience:

  • Marketing Leadership:
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams across multiple marketing functions (e.g., digital marketing, brand strategy, communications, lifecycle marketing).
  • Customer Acquisition:
  • Proven experience in developing and optimizing scalable customer acquisition strategies across digital, emerging, and traditional channels.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, operations) to align marketing strategies with company goals.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Experience in FinTech, Consumer Goods, and Banking, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer behaviors relevant to the sector.
  • Emerging Technologies:
  • Knowledge of emerging marketing technologies and platforms, such as AI-driven marketing, automation tools, and data analytics.
  • Global Marketing (Optional):
  • Experience leading global or regional marketing efforts, including tailoring strategies for diverse markets and cultural contexts.
