Policy and Reporting Analyst
STATUS: Full time
LOCATION: Remote; work from anywhere within the United States

Do you enjoy providing customer support to clients in order to address their requests and questions? Would you like to help troubleshoot issues with light coding?

The SafeMeasures® operations team seeks a policy and reporting analyst to respond to issues reported to Evident Change by SafeMeasures users. SafeMeasures is Evident Change’s state-of-the-art data reporting service for social service agencies. The analyst will be responsible for collecting and coordinating reporting requirements from client agencies, documenting those requirements, and answering questions from clients and analysts. This work is client-facing and requires the analyst to help problem-solve and track the issues that clients are experiencing.
 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Get ready to:

  • Interact with clients to explain reports, troubleshoot issues, and address requests;
  • Research and analyze policies, procedures, and legislation related to child welfare and juvenile justice in order to create tailored reports for clients; 
  • Determine requirements, develop methodologies, and ensure quality for SafeMeasures reporting; 
  • Write and troubleshoot basic XML configuration files; and 
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss reporting and project statuses. 

 

OUR COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT OFFERINGS

The national average compensation for this position ranges between $24 and $25 per hour (annualized as $50,250 to $52,000 per year). Compensation within this range is dependent on experience, parity with peers, and where an employee lives.

WHO SHOULD APPLY TO EVIDENT CHANGE?

Applicants who meet these essential qualifications will be considered a candidate for this role.

  • Ability to travel one to three times per year as needed.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage IT tasks for social service systems projects.
  • Demonstrated experience multitasking with attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Demonstrated experience following standard practices and procedures, receiving general instruction and supervision, and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem solving to triage issues and determine the best course of action.
  • Demonstrated initiative in learning new skills.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication; strong cross-cultural communication and sensitivity skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Outlook. 

Additional assets a candidate may possess include the following.

  • Previous experience and/or familiarity with project management, IT, and/or social systems (child welfare, foster care, juvenile justice, etc.) is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with HTML/XML/CSS and SQL is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with analysis and reporting, and experience with data reporting, is preferred.
