We're looking for a versatile Senior Brand Designer to join us on a contract basis as we scale our marketing efforts and support an ongoing rebrand initiative. You'll be the go-to designer for our marketing team, creating assets across print, social media, email, and paid advertising that help families find us and feel confident in choosing Charlie Health.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can work independently, and enjoys the variety of moving between different types of design work. Depending on hiring velocity and business needs, there may be opportunities to support web design projects as well.
Responsibilities
- Primary Focus (70-80% of your time):
- Design print collateral for events, partnerships, and offline touchpoints
- Design assets for paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms
- Create email templates and campaign graphics that drive engagement
- Develop social media content that resonates with our audience while maintaining brand consistency
- Support our ongoing rebrand efforts by applying and refining brand guidelines across touchpoints
- Collaborate with marketing, growth, and clinical teams to ensure creative aligns with campaign goals
- Flex Capacity (20-30% of your time, as needed):
- Support web design projects including landing pages, website updates, or conversion experiments
- Help establish design systems and templates that enable the team to scale
- Jump in wherever the team needs design support as priorities shift
Requirements
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or digital design with a strong portfolio demonstrating range
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience designing for multiple channels: social, email, print, and digital advertising
- Understanding of responsive design principles and web design fundamentals
- Comfortable working within existing brand guidelines while knowing when to push boundaries
- Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously with remote teams
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Bonus Points:
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, or mission-driven organizations
- Motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere)
- Experience with A/B testing or performance marketing creative
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
