The new CEO will be an impact-focused, entrepreneurial leader inspired by the opportunity to scale data.org’s impact at a critical moment for the global data and AI ecosystem. They will lead the organization into its next phase of strategic development, combining purpose-led leadership with a clear focus on growth, sustainability, and long-term impact.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership track record, with experience scaling organizations delivering quantifiable impact. They will be able to articulate a compelling vision for how data.org can advance its mission, and translate that vision into bold, actionable strategy. A gifted communicator and relationship-builder, the CEO will cultivate deep partnerships across sectors, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals.

With a strong understanding of the global artificial intelligence and data science landscape, the CEO will work closely with the Board, partners, and stakeholders to set clear priorities, mobilize resources, and deliver measurable outcomes. They will bring a strong, global network and be recognized for values-led leadership across multiple sectors, and also a proven ability to fundraise, nurture partnerships, and drive sustainable growth and impact.

The location for the role will be globally flexible, but candidates must be able to maintain meaningful working overlap with US Eastern Time and must have the existing right to work in the country they are based in.

The salary for the role is $280,000-$310,000 USD, dependent upon experience and location.
