SKILL SETS

The candidate for this position will possess skills and acumen in the following areas: 

• Full-stack development using technologies including Javascript, Typescript, React, NoSQL and Java.
• Proficiency and familiarity with AWS technologies and solutions, such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Cloudformation, etc; also core AWS concepts such as IAM permissions and security group rules.
• Proficient in database design, implementation, and management including NoSql (Dynamo) and Relational Databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems.
• Experience with front-end development and development technologies, including React, Typescript, and Angular.
• Strong understanding with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience working with product teams consuming requirements and turning them into actionable work items for a scrum team
• Experience working directly with stakeholders communicating updates and impediments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies in the field.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, vendors, and the public. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry experience may be substituted..  
• Relevant certifications in full-stack development or specific technologies.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

The ideal candidate has:

• 8+ years of industry knowledge.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud hosting environments.
• Relevant certifications in full-stack development or specific technologies.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for and perform the following, as appropriate:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement security and data protection measures in all aspects of development.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to recommend appropriate technologies and tools.
• Work with the team to identify and address technical debt and improve overall system architecture.
• Provide occasional remote support, if required, and coordinate with team members effectively.
• Always presents a professional image. 
• Agile and responsive to Company and Client telephone and email contacts.
