We are currently seeking a visionary leader for the role of Chief Technology Officer. This critical position will be integral to our global strategy, "Pathway to Prosperity." (https://www.mercycorps.org/pathway) It will drive our efforts to build a holistic technology and digital strategy, positioning Mercy Corps as a significant player in the information and technology space. Indeed, innovation platforms are one of our global strategy's “pathways to impact.”
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to unify diverse stakeholders aligned around a cohesive vision and strategy for using technology for the future of development and humanitarian arenas. This role requires someone who can navigate complex environments and partner both internally and externally building relationships with donors and funders to support Mercy Corps' strategic deployment of technological solutions.

Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions
The position is based from home/local office with a preference for candidates based in the Netherlands, France, Republic of Ireland, Belgium or the UK, though candidates from other geographies are encouraged to apply.Candidates must have the right to work in their preferred location at the time of appointment. Occasional travel, which may include travel to insecure locations where freedom of movement is limited and areas where amenities are limited may be required.
Salary Range
The salary for the role will vary based on location and experience and the range will start at $220,000 to $230,000 USD. The salary will be benchmarked across our different regions of operation and paid in the regional currency.
