 Job Summary:

NAF is seeking a Product Manager, Expansion Products to help grow the reach and impact of our digital products, particularly KnoPro, as we work toward expanding from 60,000 to 500,000 users and beyond over the next five years.

This role focuses on understanding how users discover NAF’s products, what motivates them to sign up and engage, and what keeps them coming back. Using data, user research, experimentation, and partnerships, the Product Manager will identify and test opportunities to strengthen product adoption, engagement, and retention.

The Product Manager will work closely with Product leadership, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Program teams, and external partners to test and scale growth opportunities. This role owns specific product initiatives and a small portfolio of products that support access to work-based learning experiences and management tools within and beyond NAF’s 600 national academies.

This is a remote role with occasional regional and national travel, up to 20%.

Preferred Educational/Training:

Coursework, certification, and/or a degree in product management, business, marketing, technology, communications, analytics, education, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in product management, growth, marketing, analytics, partnerships, business development, technology, education, or a related area.
  • Previous product management experience with ownership or co-ownership of a product.
  • Experience with digital products, websites, software, or online communities.
  • Experience using data to make decisions or evaluate performance.
  • Experience with digital marketing, growth experimentation, product growth partnerships, or user acquisition ownership is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with K–12 education, edtech, career readiness, or nonprofit organizations is a strong plus.
  • Experience with SaaS tools such as Airfocus, Asana, Figma, ChatGPT, and Claude.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of product management and the full product development lifecycle, including growth levers, experimentation, product analytics, digital marketing, Agile/Scrum, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to translate quantitative data and user feedback into clear recommendations and testable product opportunities, using AI tools to enhance research, analysis, experimentation, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey product requirements, insights, risks, and recommendations to varied audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, seek support when needed, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Program teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt based on experiment results, influence across teams, and take ownership of increasingly complex growth initiatives, including pitch meetings, demos, conference sessions, and partner engagement in a matrixed environment.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Flexible Spending Account eligibility as of date of hire
  • Employer-paid Life Insurance as of date of hire
  • Employer-paid Headspace and HealthiestYou by Teladoc memberships as of hire date
  • Generous employer contributions to Retirement Plan
