What do we mean by International Connections and why is it important?

On Tech Jobs for Good, we include International Connections as a category under Education because we believe that learning about other cultures is an important component for a more compassionate and empathetic world.

International connections and education can help people gain better understanding and appreciation of different global cultures, languages, and customs. Tech is also being used to connect people virtually from different countries, provide cross-cultural mentorship, and help digitally capture languages and cultural customs.
