Aspen Tech Policy Hub
The Aspen Tech Policy Hub takes tech experts, teaches them the policy process through fellowship and executive education programs, and encourages them to develop outside-the-box solutions to society’s problems. We model ourselves after tech incubators like Y Combinator, but train new policy thinkers and focus the impact of their ideas. We’re building new ideas for policymaking — every fellow must complete one practical policy output during their time with us — and an alumni base of technologists who understand policy and want to engage with it.

More In Common
More in Common works on both short and longer term initiatives to address the underlying drivers of fracturing and polarization, and build more united, resilient and inclusive societies. More in Common’s teams across the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany work closely together and share a commitment to advancing our mission. While there are similar forces threatening democratic societies, we have established separate national teams with their own national strategies, because we believe strategies to strengthen resilience against the forces of division must build on each society’s unique national and regional characteristics.

Urban Rural Action
All UR Action programs bring together Americans across divides to 1) engage in constructive dialogue, 2) deepen understanding of societal challenges, and 3) take action to address those challenges. The founding team of Urban Rural Action came to the work of advancing peace, democracy, and justice through shared purpose: preventing organized violence in conflict zones. Today it means the U.S. because underlying dynamics that fuel violent conflict globally (e.g., widespread distrust of governing institutions; toxic polarization; income inequality; misinformation; divisive leaders) are also present in our own country.
