Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a research and policy nonprofit that discovers and promotes effective solutions to global poverty problems. From the start, we recognized how a lack of battery health information could lead to huge waste across the ecosystem, particularly at a battery’s end-of-life. Our goal is to enable repurposing, which extends batteries’ useful lives and allows them to store energy again and again! Thus, the name ReJoule: Energy, Again.
